Rangers Win From (Suprise, Suprise!!) Josh Hamilton's 3rd Career Walk Of In 13th

When Jason Frasor approached Josh Hamilton, he had just come of a night where he had thrown 31 pitches. If you know baseball, that is quite a few. After a 2-2 count was setteled, the payoff pitch was on its was. Only a few people thought that this 407 monster would go out to straight away center field. Even Josh couldn't see it coming. He was "seeing stars" after coliding with the wall in the 5th. But who knows, maybe he still had one hit in him, a tired, exhausted Josh Hamilton.

Who knows? Maybe he can do it again, Mr. Hot-Stuff.  

Josh Hamilton&His Craziness

We all know Josh Hamilton is crazy! He has hit 8 homers in the last 5 games. He hit 4 homers in one game for the first time since 2003, and he is the 14 since 1900 to do that. Not even Babe Ruth nor Jackie Robonsin acomplised it!! So, how hot is Josh in your mind? Lady Flyers Win Final Game Of Season 22-15 Against Team Sparks

The Flyers had an overall great game in route to beating Team Sparks 22-15 Saturday, Feb. 11 at Heritage Elementary. Once again, Samantha had the most points at 14, Avery M. had 4, Avery W. and Emma S. each had 2 points, and Dyanna had 1. Samantha also led the way in rebounds at 10, Avery M was close behind at 7, and Dyanna and Emma S. each had 4. Samantha had 2 assist and Emma B had 1. She [Emma] also had 1 rebound.

The Flyers led practically the whole game. They did look a little asleep in the 1st quarter at times (especially Emma) but eventually woke up. Emma got to guard her good friend, Lauren, in the first quarter, and they seemed to have a few conversations.

This season, the Lady Flyers really proved they could "Fly," only losing one game. They are definitely worthy of first place, or maybe second. As I've been watching this season, they have learned more then the fundamentals. They have learned to have fun with the game, and really proved that in their final game.

Close, Losing Weekend For Butler Family and Pro Sports

This weekend was close for who the Butler family was rooting for and playing for, but all ended uo losing. For example, the Super Bowl. We were cheering for the Patriots, and they allmost had it, but failed on the final play. The Mavericks lost to the Caveliers when a last second shot didn't fall in to force overtime. In Emma's game, she lost when Samantha's shot didn't count to have a tie [they don't do overtime in her leauge]. In my game, we were tied in the final minute, but we lost by 3.


See, it's a losing weekend for the Butler Family in sports.

Bulldogs Barely Pass Lady Flyers 19-17

   When a last second shot didn't count to have a tied game, the Bulldogs got past the Flyers 19-17. The Flyers had a 4th quarter comeback led by Samantha, who had all of her 7 points in the 4th quarter and had it tied at many points in the game. But, the refs didn't count the last second shot by Samantha.


   Samantha led the way with 7 points, Avery W had 4, and Emma S., Kayle, and Avery M each had 2. Dyana led the way with 5 rebounds, Kayle, Sofie, and Avery W. each had 3, Samantha, Zoe, and Avery M each had 2, and Emma S and Lacey each had 1. Emma B. had no points or rebounds. Coach John (talking to the girls) said "You girls know...that other teams have scored only 4 points against them, and I'm proud of you for keeping up with them."


   Even though they lost, the Flyers definitely played their hearts out on that comeback.

Lady Flyers Fly Past Opponent 24-1

The Lady Flyers flew by their opponents 24-1 on Saturday, January 28, at Heritage Elementary. The leading scorers were Samantha with 12 points, Emma S. with 6, Kayle with 4, and Emma B. with 2. Coach Brian commented "Every girl contributed in some way."

A girl on the other team left early in the 2nd quarter with ankle swelling. She was carried outside and didn't return to the building.

Samantha and the Defense were definitely the stars. Samantha had half the points, and was aggressive and not selfish with the ball. The defense stopped the other team who had some pretty good chances and shots, but none went in until the late 4th quarter on a free throw.

Not every girl scored, but all did some sort of contribution to help the team win.
