Zoo

The girls and I met my sister and her 2 boys at the Fort Worth Zoo on our last day of Christmas vacation. We got there at opening, and it wasn't too crowded. The kids were able to run freely, and we could still keep them in our sight. The kids were certainly eager to keep moving and to see all the animals; they were hard for us ol' moms to keep up with! It ended up being a beautiful 77 degrees today, so it was perfect. We left around 2:30, just as it was starting to get crowded.

My sister and her family had visited the Stockyards in Ft. Worth last summer. The boys loved a "Texas Sized Maze" that they got to go through. So, after we left the zoo, we headed over to the Stockyards and went through the maze. We finished in a very quick 15 minutes - the kids were very fast!

The girls had a great day with their cousins, and they had no trouble going to sleep tonight. :)
